This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified/trainee dental nurse to join our family friendly long-established modern 6 surgery practice providing NHS & private treatment for our patients. The practice has digital x-rays, digital scanner, Carestream SOE computer system, offers cosmetic treatment, Invisalign and facial aesthetics.
You would be joining a dental team with vast knowledge and experience and working in modern surgeries and a dedicated decontamination room. Duties will include supporting the dentist/hygienist providing chairside assistance, keeping all clinical areas and equipment/instruments clean and tidy, ensuring all stock/materials in surgery/store room are stocked, liaise with reception possibly assisting with reception duties, following practice policies and procedures to ensure the smooth running of the practice.
Qualified dental nurses must hold an up to date registration certificate and CPD portfolio.
Trainee dental nurses will work 4 days and be given 1 paid day for college leave, you will be required to attend college 1 day a week and undertake all training required, all course fees will be covered by the practice.
Maternity cover also required for a dental nurse.
Full-time will be 4 days a week with an alternating day off each week
GDC registration and indemnity paid by the practice.
5.8 weeks paid holiday per year inclusive of bank holidays pro rata
